SEPTEMBER NEW MEXICO BOOK CO-OP LUNCH FEATURES DON BULLIS & THE FINALISTS IN THE NM BOOK AWARDS
The Friday, September 23, 2011, lunch meeting of the New Mexico Book Co-op features New Mexico Centennial Author Don Bullis. Bullis will speak about his experiences with publishers, New Mexico history, and his new book, New Mexico Historical Biographies that won a New Mexico Centennial Grants in 2010. Bullis lives in Rio Ranchos and has written many award-winning books in addition to a newspaper column for the Rio Rancho Observer and he was a contributor for New Mexico Magazine. Bullis is also Vice President of the Historical Society of New Mexico and is Sheriff (President) of the Albuquerque Corral of Westerners.
The Finalists for the 2011 New Mexico Book Awards will also be announced. The Winners will be announced at the November banquet.
Lunch is at the Golden Corral at Coors and Alameda in Albuquerque. Attendees pay for their own buffet, tax, and tip.
