Note from Carolyn

Dear Subscribers:

The holidays are upon us. I have been on vacation. But I wanted you to have this information while there was still time to support your fellow authors. Thus this special edition.

I’m excited to shar this amazing holiday catalog with products you have never seen before. It’s called the Spirit of the Season Catalog - - for your gift giving pleasure - - but also as an example of an excellent approach at the kind of promotion that is effective for authors because it is helpful for others. So won't you please visit this transformational approach to gift giving. www.spiritoftheseasoncatalog.com.

For those of you who are tired of trinket filled catalogs and are looking for special gifts that change people’s lives, the Spirit of the Season Catalog is perfect.

For the first time ever, this online catalog offers a shopping experience that is fast, fun and green. It features bestselling books, unusual and personally - empowering, self - enriching products and services in a varied collection from amazing authors, coaches, gurus and mentors.

You’ll find gifts in the Spirit of the Season Catalog in the following
categories: art, inspirational, motivational, business opportunities, success & wealth building, health and energy healing, Law of Attraction workshops, intuitive healing, all genres of fiction and a variety of non - fiction to empowering products that will light anyone’s life and many more too numerous to mention.

Many sellers are even giving a portion of their earnings to charity helping others around the world like the women of an African village (who actually make the jewelry we are selling) and the children of St. Anthony’
s Orphanage in Italy.

The brainchild of Denise Cassino and Dr. Anna Maria Prezio, the Spirit of the Season Catalog (www.spiritoftheseasoncatalog.com) will be issued seasonally. The unique aspect of the catalog is that the founders take no profits but offer joint venture partners an opportunity to showcase a vast array of Internet based products and their amazing artistry often overlooked during the holiday shopping experience.

It’s the catalog that keeps on giving throughout the season(s). Please share it with your friends, family and contacts! You can do so by simply copying this letter, adjusting it to your needs and sending it to others.

I shared this opportunity with writers before and several Sharing with Writers subscribers are part of it. Thus, we can't go wrong when writers share with writers.
http://www.spiritoftheseasoncatalog.com

Happy Writing, Promoting and Editing, too. And Happy Holidays, too!
Carolyn Howard - Johnson

PS: You'll note that this letter is short. Another will be out before Christmas - - just as soon as I get unpacked and get myself into gear.
( - :

PPS: Please note, too, that this letter is not available in .pdf as it usually is.

Maida Tilchen News

Madia Tilchen is a Write On 4 Corners Author.

I wanted to let all my wonderful friends know that "Land Beyonds Maps" has won an award. You can read more about it at 2009 New Mexico Book Awards or go directly to the list of winners

You're also invited to visit my website for "Land Beyond Maps"

My publisher has set up a Savvy Press website and a Savvy Press Facebook page. I hope you'll take a look and learn about all the other great books from Savvy Press and Gowanus Books. I'm so honored to be in the company of Savvy's other writers. I'm not a mystery fan, but I couldn't put Ellen Larson's "New Jersey mystery books" down, and her "Measure of the Universe" is a great read about a future time when people have forgotten how they used to communicate with written text - very timely! Thomas Hubschman's "Look At Me Now," actually succeeds as a feminist novel written by a man but in a woman's voice. Gowanus Books has two exciting anthologies of writing by people from all over the developing world - voices rarely read in the US. Take a look and see the good company that "Land Beyond Maps" is in!

Thanks for all your support and encouragement. My next novel, also about women in New Mexico in the 1920s, is moving along. The writing is almost done. I'll be sure to let you know when it is published.
