New Mexico Book Awards Finalists

Finalists in 2011 New Mexico Book Awards
The Finalists in 2011 New Mexico Book Awards were announced today at the regular monthly meeting of the New Mexico Book Coop, a not-for-profit organization serving authors and book publishers. Finalists have been selected in thirty-six categories ranging from children's and parenting/family issues books to romance and science fiction and New Mexico history. One hundred and eighty-four books were selected as finalists this year, about the same number as last year. But entries in this year's program were about double those of last year. This is the fifth year for the New Mexico Book Awards.

The winners will be announced at the annual Awards Banquet on November 18 at the MCM Elegante Hotel in Albuquerque, NM.
