JULY 29 SIGNING AT THE SANTA FE CONVENTION CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY HISPANIC MARKET BOOK RELEASED FOR THEIR 25th ANNIVERSARY
The Contemporary Hispanic Market is celebrating their 25th anniversary at their Preview on July 29, 2011, at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center 5:30pm, with a signing of their new book. 87 artists are featured in the book and they along with the editors, Paul Rhetts and Barbe Awalt, will be available for singing. The book will be released from 5:30-8pm and also at the INFORMATION Booth for Contemporary Hispanic Market on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 & 31.
The book has the history of Contemporary Hispanic Market by Corrales artist Edward Gonzales who has been a part of the Market for 25 years. The book also contains a list of the Best of Show winners. According the CHM President, Albuquerque artist Ramona Vigil-Eastwood, “This is a celebration of how far we have come and of the artists who make this show successful.” Grants artist Jerry Montoya designed the cover of the book.
