NEW MEXICO BOOK EVENTS CALENDAR - SEPTEMBER 2009
+ September Is NMBA Membership Renewal
Our membership year runs from September 1, 2009 to September 2010. So now's the time for dues. We won't need to bill you if you'll send your check for $62 for the year to: NMBA, c/o Barbara Beasley Murphy, Treasurer, 486 Circle Drive, Santa Fe NM 87501. (If you joined NMBA after June 1 of this year, your membership is current until September 2010.)
+ NMBA Gatherings September 11 and 17
We are in a new location for our free Networking "Brown Bag" Luncheons - it's the same address, but downstairs! NMBA now occupies the first floor at 826 Camino del Monte Rey, Santa Fe. We're calling our meeting space the Writers Forum. Luncheon is Friday, September 11 from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm. No charge and no reservations! Bring a friend and talk about your publishing or writing project. Then join us the following week for NMBA’s Round Table Happy Hour on Thursday 9/17 at Santa Fe Bar & Grill, DeVargas Mall, Santa Fe, 5:30pm.
+ Mountains & Plains Booksellers Show Materials Now!
We need your books and flyers by Friday, Sept. 11 for NMBA's table at the Mountains & Plains Booksellers Trade Show in Denver later this month! If you haven't registered, send your check for $65 for up to two titles which we will represent for you at the show. We need one or two copies of each book to display. (Additional titles $20 each). We also need 60 copies of an 8.5"x11" flyer which will be bound into our special NMBA Mountains/Plains Booksellers Show Catalog. The page design is up to you, but please include book title(s), description, ordering address, and price. You may print on one or both sides of your page; an image of the cover and/or author will help! Send or deliver all materials to our office: New Mexico Book Association, c/o Recursos, 826 Camino del Monte Rey, Santa Fe 87505.
