October Coop Meeting
Next NM Book Co-op Lunch is October 28 at the Golden Corral on Coors and Alameda in Albuquerque. Lynn Baca, Director of SAR Press, and Renee Tambeau, Marketing Director at Museum of New Mexico Press, will be the speakers; they will talk about how their presses are adapting to today's changes in book publishing. Email info@nmbookcoop.com or call 505/344-9382 if you want to reserve a seat at this meeting. Lunch begins at 11:30am and the programs starts at 12 noon.
Five Spaces Left for Halloween Book Event
There are still a few spaces available for the Halloween Holiday Howl, October 29, at the Barn in Los Ranchos on Rio Grande. Details to get a spot are HERE. The cost is $50 per table and space sharing is allowed. We have just a few spots left so see if you can share a table and save some money and sell some books! Any other crafts, foods, or art is also invited. Remember we want a lot of people come. An ad has been put in the October Village Vision Magazine and we will do our part sending out press releases but you have to do your part!
Book Awards Banquet
The winners in the 2011 NM Book Awards will be announced at the Banquet on Friday, November 18. The cost is $40 per person until November 1 (it goes up to $48 after Nov. 1). Come be at the biggest gala event in books in New Mexico. Get your reservation by CLICKING HERE.
Award Finalist Stickers Available
