Book Networking Luncheon, Friday, February 12th
NMBA's Book Networking Luncheon is Friday, February 12, at the NMBA Book Forum! Same time and place: 11:15 am at 826 Camino del Monte Rey (between St. Francis and Pacheco) in Santa Fe. Cookies and juices provided, but bring a bag lunch. No charge (but contributions to the "Cookie Kitty" are welcomed. Bring and share your topics of interest and concern for the challenges of 2010! NMBA's monthly Board Meeting will follow at 1:15 pm. It's an open meeting to all members.

If you write or publish books that enhance or improve peoples' lives, this book awards contest is for you. The Living Now Awards were created to bring increased attention to books intended for readers who seek healthier, more spiritual and productive lifestyles. Gold, silver and bronze medallions will be presented in 30 categories at a gala event held during BookExpo America in New York on May 25th, 2010.
Entry fee is $90 per category and the final entry deadline is February 14, 2010. Enter online by midnight Feb. 14 and send books later, or postmark your mail-in entry by February 13th. Attention all publishers, book designers and producers, editors, and authors: your entries may now be submitted until March 19, 2010 to be considered for the Southwest Book Design & Production Awards for Excellence!
