DON JAMES TO SIGN ONE NATION ONE YEAR AT BORDERS WYOMING JUNE 12
Don James, a staff photographer for Albuquerque The Magazine, will sign copies of his new book, One Nation One Year at Borders - 5901 Wyoming on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 1pm.
One Nation One Year is a Navajo photographer’s 365 day journey into a world of discovery, life, and hope on the Navajo Nation in New Mexico and Arizona. James took over 100,000 photos of Navajo people in traditional and contemporary activities. This is the first book about the Navajo people done by a Navajo. James wanted to do this book his way about his people with his voice. James lived on $100 a week and depended on the kindness of strangers in his journey across the Navajo Nation.
The public is invited to this free event. For information contact Borders at 505/797-5681.
