Gardens of Santa Fe

Dear friends,
Over the last few months, Don and I have been doing benefit book signings in Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico for Tony Hillerman’s Landscape ---with a few more events on the horizon. We haven’t been home much.
When we looked out over the driveway yesterday there, where a pile of snow sat last week, I noticed two beautiful white crocuses, each about an inch tall, enjoying the April sun. We’ve still got mounds of snow under the piƱon trees but spring, and juniper pollen, are in the air. In keeping with the spirit of the season, Don and I are delighted to announce the release of our newest book, Gardens of Santa Fe, pub date, April 1st.
Please join us for our book launch at Garcia Street Books this Saturday (April 3) at 2 p.m. The address is 376 Garcia Street, Santa Fe. (505-986-0151) Owners Edward and Eva Bornis have generously agreed to donate part of the proceeds to the Hillerman-McGarrity Scholarship at the University of New Mexico’s Creative Writing Department.
And, as of now at least, there’s no snow in the forecast for Saturday!

Here are some other signing dates for the Garden book:
April 9, 6:30 p.m. Talk and slide show of photos and “outtakes” from Gardens of Santa Fe, Page One bookstore, 11200 Montgomery Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, NM 505-299-6766.

April 11, 5:30 p.m. Talk and slide show of photos and “outtakes” from Gardens of Santa Fe $5 admission benefits the Santa Fe Garden Club. Museum of Indian Art and Culture auditorium, Museum Hill, Santa Fe. 505-438-7300 for information and reservations.
April 24, 3 p.m. Talk and slide show of photos and “outtakes” from Gardens of Santa Fe at Bookworks, 4022 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, N.M. 505- 344-8139

Hope to see you soon,
Anne and Don
