Get the stereotypes out of children’s books.
This coming week I am co-posting on Through the Tollbooth with Debby Dahl Edwardson. We hope to have readers look at an old photograph anew and listen.
A look at Alternative World Views: Whose stories? Whose voices? Contemporary multicultural books –where are they; who is writing them; how do we find them?
Indians in the Cupboard? Perhaps some find this phrase offensive. I hope so because I want to spark discussion about the stereotyping of American Indians in children’s books. Please join us.

I will be quoting Uma!
